Opening a discord server for the association

The association is opening a Discord server to bring together LGBTQIA+ people in Amiens and the Somme department, whether they are members of the association or not! The goal, beyond creating a space for exchange and support, is to promote meetings, discussions, and sharing of useful information.

If you didn't know, Discord is like a social media but works a little differently from those we are used to. You have "servers" (like Facebook or Instagram groups for example) that contain "channels" (sort of sub-groups) in which you can chat with the members of that server.

But you also have the option to chat privately with other members of the server, or even make audio or video calls.

We are therefore opening a Discord server that will allow people who wish to follow the association's news and contact us if needed, but also to be able to exchange with other LGBTQIA+ people.

Some rules​

Within the Discord, we ask everyone to respect a few rules so that everyone can feel safe!

First of all, even though we want to encourage meetings between LGBTQIA+ people from the Somme and Amiens, the goal is not for the server to be used as a dating site.

In addition, we ask everyone to respect other members of the server, not to make insulting or discriminatory remarks, and to gender people by using the pronouns they have indicated on the server in their roles.
